For a heavily based ecchi anime, Highschool DxD was actually really good! The story, the characters, the everything was really interesting. Even though there was lots of boobs and fanservice, it really doesn’t… matter. Not to me anyway! It also probably the best endings of this season. Motherfucking stripper pole.

Highschool DxD is about teenager Issei Hyoudou being turned into a devil by another student in his school, Rias Gremory. He ends up meeting other devils that Rias turned and his adventures while being introduced to this new world of devils and fallen angels.

I know this was suppose to be super ecchi, with boobs flying everywhere. But… okay. The story is really good! In the 12 episodes you actually get quite a few story arcs which helps expand the world of devils and fallen angels. The action sequences were really thrilling. I especially loved the final fight in the last episode. As far as character development… there isn’t much besides Issei’s and Rias’ relationship. Issei’s main reason to fight and get stronger is to “protect Rias” which is pretty typical and kind of boring. But besides that the story is fun!

If you don’t mind ecchi anime with uncensored boobs flopping around during really cool action scenes then I would suggst Highschool DxD.
